Frequently asked questions
Can I import my data from another system?
Yes. Presently imports families, students, classes, instructors, and enrollments from Jackrabbit, DanceStudio Pro, Studio Director, and most other platforms. If you can export a CSV, we can bring it in. James (the developer) does the initial mapping himself for new studios.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No contracts. Presently is month-to-month, cancel anytime, no penalties.
Do you support multiple locations?
Yes. Multiple locations per studio, shared families, separate class schedules per location, consolidated reporting.
Is there a native app for families and teachers?
Not yet, but both portals are mobile-first and work like an app when families or instructors add them to their phone's home screen (full-screen, no browser chrome). A native iOS / Android app is planned.
What payment processors do you support?
Stripe for credit card and ACH. You pay Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + 30¢ on cards, 0.8% capped at $5 on ACH) plus a small Presently platform fee that drops as you grow — 1.5% up to 100 students, 1.25% up to 500, 1.0% beyond that. Every fee is itemized on the receipt, so families see exactly what they're paying.
